iFilm to air Fajr filmfest special program

iFilm English TV is to broadcast a special program of Cinema iFilm dedicated to the Fajr International Film Festival.

The show will air every night on iFilm English, highlighting the main news and sideline events of the festival.

iFilm crew are present at the venue of the festival in Milad Tower to review and introduce some competing films at national and international sections every night.

This year, the domestic and international versions of Fajr film festival are once again held as part of one event titled “Fajr International Film Festival” after five editions of separate versions.

The Fajr festival coincides with the Ten-Day Fajr ceremonies across Iran, marking the anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Since its establishment in 1982, the festival has played a vital role in the development of Iranian Cinema.

The 41st edition of Fajr International Film Festival, headed by Mojtaba Amini, will run until February 11.
